Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated march 4, 2026
Thank you for choosing to use the Ankar AI platform and related services (the “Services”). At Ankar, we are committed to ensuring that the Services are used in a lawful, secure and responsible manner. This Acceptable Use Policy (this “Policy”) sets out the rules and standards governing access to and use of the Services by all Ankar customers.
Please note that this Policy is incorporated into the agreement that you have entered into with Ankar that governs your use of the Services. For purposes of this Policy, the terms “you” or “your” refer to the person or firm who has contracted to purchase Services from Ankar, and such person or firm is responsible for ensuring all other persons who use the Services on their behalf or with their permission comply with this Policy.
1. Respect applicable law. You must not access, deploy or use the Services to conduct or facilitate any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent, or that violates the rights of others. For example, you may not access, deploy or use the Services to:
a. plan, promote, advocate, facilitate, or assist in any illegal or violent actions;
b. compromise the privacy of others (e.g., disclosing or otherwise processing personal data through or in connection with the Services without complying with applicable legal requirements);
c. violate any contract or agreement to which you are a party; or
d. submit any information or material to the Services, or use the Services to store, process, create, compile, transmit or distribute any information, communication or material, without having all necessary rights, licences, consents or permissions to do so.
2. Use AI responsibly. The Services include artificial intelligence features and functionalities (“AI”). You must use such AI in compliance with the rules set out in this Policy, and you must not:
a. create content and falsely represent that it was created solely by humans, or otherwise make any affirmative false or misleading statement regarding the provenance of AI-generated material;
b. engage in any activity or practice that is prohibited or considered ‘high risk’ under the European Union’s AI Act (here) or any other similar regulations governing deployment and/or use of AI; or
c. circumvent AI abuse protections or safety filters.
3. Avoid technical misuse. You must respect the technical, security and operational safeguards implemented by Ankar and the third parties who help Ankar provide the Services. This means you must not access, deploy or use the Services to:
a. copy, distribute, rent, lease, resell, lend, license, transfer or make derivative works of the Services or any related materials (except as expressly permitted under your agreement with Ankar), or use any of the foregoing on a service bureau or similar basis;
b. decompile, distil, jailbreak, subject to prompt injection or other adversarial attacks, reverse engineer, or disassemble the Services or otherwise attempt to discover the source code, system prompts, model weights or other algorithmic parameters of the Services (including the third-party AI models used in the Services);
c. circumvent, disable, interfere with, or otherwise attempt to bypass any authentication measures, access controls, seat or usage fees or limits, monitoring mechanisms, or security features of the Services or any underlying third-party services;
d. probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services or related systems, or use the Services to develop a product or Service that competes with the Services;
e. introduce malicious code, malware, or other harmful components into the Services, or use the Services to transmit or store such materials;
f. interfere with, disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the servers, networks, equipment, or infrastructure of Ankar, its suppliers, carriers, licensors, or other customers; or
g. use the Services in a manner that materially degrades, impairs, or interferes with the performance, integrity, or availability of the Services or any third-party services used to provide them.
4. Changes to this Policy. Ankar may modify this Policy to reflect changes in our technology, legal requirements, or other factors (but Ankar will not make updates that reduce your rights unless required by applicable law or a third-party model provider upon which the Services depend). Your continued use of the Services following the posting or notice of any changes will mean you accept those changes.
By accessing, deploying or using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy. Subject to the terms of your agreement with Ankar, your failure to comply with this Policy may result in suspension or termination, or both, of the Services.
